What is an ATC: ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards.
These measure 2 1/2 by 3 1/2. The cards are the size of playing cards. Artists create these mini works of art and trade them for FREE (There is no buying or selling).
This form of art work was started many years ago as a way to learn from other artists.

Artists enjoy collecting these mini works of art as they cover a wide variety of style and creativity.

What is a Themed ATC Swap: A themed swap is a group of members joining in to create a specific type of atc. The themes are set by the host of the swap.

What is a One on One Trade: A one on one trade is just that. Where members pick another member they wish to trade with and request a trade with that member. Rules of these trades are up to the two members to decide on. Such as Quanity to be traded, type of trade, time frame for the trade to go through.

What are Journals: Journal range in different sizes but the most common sizes are 6 x 6 and 8 x 8. There are different types of journal trades as well. Artistic which will have drawn, painted, collaged and so on. Poetry journals which consist of poetry written by other members or adding a specific poem by someone else in which case you must add the author of the poem to that work. Writing journals which can be a number of things asked for by the host. There are handmade journal trades as well. Where you make the full journal yourself and trade it.

Members who host these swaps must be as specific as possible with what they wish the swap to be.
These swap can hold only 5 members per group. NO MORE then 5 members.

What is a Journal Page Swaps: Page size may vary. This can be held as a group swap or a one on one trade but keep this type of trading in the Journal Swap section even if it's just a one on one trade. Journal pages are set as group trades for those who wish not to have their full journals traveling from member to member. Journal Pages may also be traded one on one.
Determine how many pages for trade, time frame and type.

What is a PIF: PIF stands for Play It Forward swaps.
One member lists 3 things for trade. A member chooses from the 3 things and then they post a choice of 3 things. Someone picks from that choice and then adds a new set of 3. Only one member can choose at a time first to respond to the choices gets it, then they must add 3 new choices.
Play 1 3 things
Player 2 picks from player 1 then offers 3 new things
Player 3 picks from the choices player 2 offered.

If you request a trade you must offer a trade. Please fullfill your trades folks.

What is a Matchbox Fill: Matchbox fill swaps run just like Play it forward swaps. You take a mini match box size range from 1 inch by 2 Or (as close as you can get) decorate the matchbox cover and fill the matchboxes with the specif theme offered.

Members enjoy collecting these mini works of art which will give them a variety of different themes and a great conversation piece that folks will ask to see and know about!

Postcard swaps: A postcard swap runs a few ways. Some people collect postcards from all over the world. Other like to make their own postcards and trade them that way. These can be Requested by member looking for a specific postcard style or from a specific place. You may host swaps and trade one on one.

Remember to keep requests for postcards in the section of the board and one on one requests.

What are Holiday Card Swaps: These swaps are a hosted swap for a specific theme such as Easter Card Swap, Christmas Card swap and so on. In this section there will also be mini card swaps. The mini cards will be the size of atc cards. This cute little card is a new rising trade that members love to collect.

Misc Trades: These are trades not offered else where on the site. Example, stationary swaps, bottle cap swaps, inches and much more.

What are chunky and skinny books:These are books just like journals only the style is as stated Chunky for embellishing your pages. Skinny for size of your pages usually 4 x 8 inches.

*If there is a specific swap you feel would have a good following pm the admin and we will give it, it's own section on the board. We wish to make this site a place to trade anything and everything.

We will be adding more swaps soon.
