GREETINGS, Welcome to Mail Art International.
I hope you will enjoy being a member of this site. But, as all sites have rules so does this one.
*Keep It Friendly folks.
*All Host will have their own set of requirements for their swaps. If you can not follow the requirements do not sign up for their swap.
* All host will need to post the following in their swaps.
-Swap Title
-Sign up date/withdrawl date
-Mail by date
-How many members may join in the swap
-(no odd swaps,send 6 get 5 back)
-Quanity of swap items.
-Detail information of your swap
-ALL HOST HOLD FIRM to your due dates. (You may each choose to use a 1 week grace period or not.
-Swaps need to be complete by 90 days.
-Members if you join in a swap follow through. Situations do come up but I'm to busy is not a good enough reason for delays.
-Poor weather may cause a problem for some, these are unforeseen events. pm your host if you run into a problem such as this.
-Illness strikes at any time. Pm your host if this happens.
*Keep the swap friendly, no crictical comments on other members work. No bashing other members, any rudeness may find yourself banned from the site.
-Members who receive but don't send out will go on a HOLD LIST. Until you complete your trade you will not be aloud to sign up for any other activities. This does not include members who fall ill or have unforeseen events occur. ONLY THE ADMIN AND HOST WILL KNOW ABOUT THE HOLD LIST.
This does not include those just running late. This is for those who don't communicate in the thread, don't withdrawl and just disappear after receiving.
We do not want any member to get tarnished from an event. You will be given the chance to complete by 1 months time and you will be removed from the HOLD LIST. If you do not complete you will be banned from the site.
Again this does not include those who fall ill or have events happen they can not control. This strict rule is only to keep those who prey on sites like these to get FREE THINGS FOR NOTHING.
That's it folks. Just one strict rule. All are welcome to join swaps. All are welcome to host a swap. Lets have fun and enjoy meeting people from around the world.
