Greetings,
We'd like to make this easy for you. Joining a new site takes some time getting use to as all forums are run and set up differently. I'm hoping this will be of help to you and make you feel more at home.
Once you log in you see at the top of your page:

Each of these categories have forums. Click in the Forum you wish to see topics on. All swaps are posted in TOPICS.
How Do I add images in my post?
To add an image into your post you need to use the Forum Codes [img]and paste the http// in between the brackets. Your images also need to be on a image site like photobucket, imageshack etc. Image size should be thumbnail size or smaller. Most image sites let you set your image sizes.
How do I add my own avatar?
Avatars have to be downloaded into the site by an Admin. pm your link: http:// in forum code [img] and we can add your image in and have it saved for you. If you can't figure out how to send your image to us. Send us the link your image is at and image title. We'll grab it from there.
Links to other sites go in the LINKSCategory.
We have craft links/ Writing and Poetry Links/ Members links for your personal sites.
This is so ALL members can view the links. If you post a link in a thread you may find your post edited by the Admin.
This will be counted as a warning for a member if an ADMIN has to edit your post do to language, bashing other members or sites and posting links.
IF YOU FIND YOU HAVE POSTED IN SUCH A WAY YOU MAY WANT TO GO BACK AND CHANGE YOUR POST BEFORE AN ADMIN GETS TO IT.
These are our only rules for the site and we wish to keep the site friendly. We don't won't to be STRICT and have the forum be uncomfortable for members to trade so please follow these few rules that we have set.
Read through Our Rules/ FAQ/ Forum News Regularly. You will find these areas to be very helpful. Will be added to as needed.
How Do I set up my own Gallery?
There's a gallery area here in the ATC Category where members set up their own galleries by starting a new topic. You can name it anything you like, edit it as much as you like. Your images need a site like photobucket, imageshack and then load here with Forum code [img]with the http:// link. Images should be thumbnail size or smaller. These image site such as photobucket and other let you set your image sizes so please remember to upload them to the size required.
How do I start a swap?
First answer the following questions?
Have you swapped before? If YES continue If NO "STOP".
You MUST have traded better to just jump right in and start Hosting a swap. If you have NEVER TRADED you need to READ Hosting Policies in RULES. There are 2 sets One for Adult Traders and One for Junior Traders.
For Continuing Members:
Find the forum you wish to host a swap in.
Start a NEW TOPIC. We would like to see an example image with your swaps.Image size should be thumbnail size or smaller. All Hosts have their own rules. Follow the format of posting a swap in:

*What is a Random Profile Check and why is it done.
A random profile check is where the ADMIN TEAM checks members profiles for False Information Posting. This is done as a safety measure for our junior members.
If false information is found in a profile the member will receive a message stating:
You are receiving this message because false information was posted in your profile. This could be due to age given with occupation posted falsely. Or username posted in all fields.
This is cause for being Banned from the site.
(New members are given one chance only to change their information. By New members we mean those who have just registered.)If you've been lurking around the site not posting and it's found in your profile we will base the Banned Rule off the date you Registered. You will be kicked out with No Warning!
There will be no discussion on the matter: Newly registered members must change the information and will go on probation until we feel you can be trusted.Those who do not change the information will be Banned and notices will go to other craft site warning them about this member.
If you recieve a False Posting Notice and feel it my have been a mistake contact the admin who sent it to you. Mistakes are made and we will verify the mistake and get back to you.
Can't a member just receive the notice and change the information then tell you they didn't post any false information?
No, Because we keep a copy of the false information on record.
Yes, A member has tried that already.
We are hoping to have a great deal of younger member join in swaps. We also hope that other craft sites take up the same security measures. This will not only help keep members safe but also deter swappers who grab and go.
What Is A Grab and Go:These are members who join in a swap and receive and not send back. They disappear for a while then do it again.
