Here's a listening of a few useful smilies you'll see posted about the board from time to time. We thought it would be a good idea for new members to make themselves familiar to what they mean when they see them.
How to use them: right click on the image then click properties. A http link will appear. Copy and then paste the link in the message of your post after clicking on the add image button.
These images will be added to from time to time.
Greetings:
 : This might be seen as a message to someone ill or going on vacation.

Save the board smilie database link in your favorite. You can get to it a alot quicker then.
It's still being looked at if they can be added with other smiles on the forum.

The trouble w/ copying & pasting is that you have to anticipate what you're going to say. I like to just throw something in in the middle as I'm going along. This way I have to stop and go back and find the smilie I want, but by then I've lost whatever I wrote because I went to another page. Wait a minute, I guess I could try submiting my post and then go get a smilie and edit it in. hmmm...could work. I'll have to see.

It worrked for me NiteOwl.
Directions:
Right click on the image you want to use.
Go down to Properties not copy.
A window will pop up with the URL link. Copy the http://
Close the window out.
In your reply use forum code [img] paste the link in and remember to use the last img code with the /img. and send reply.
If you don't know what the image code is look under forum codes in your quick reply box it will show you the [img].
Remember you need to copy the property link not the image itself.
These links are around on photobucket that's where I have them stored for the site.

There may be an easier way, but what I do is:
Right click on the smiley.
Click on Save the Picture As (in the pop up window)
Save the pic (I rename it to remind myself of what they are) on either my Desktop or My Documents.
Go to Photobucket and upload the smiley.
In Photobucket, left-click on "Image Code". It automatically copies. Then just paste that into the thread.

how do we access the extra smilies you have added?
am I inept? I cannot sem to find the 'more smilies' button to open them up to choose one...
what am I doing wrong?

I tried to copy and paste these in my posts but the paste part isn't activated, even if I try in the Reply to Topic instead of Quick Reply.

How do we access these smilies? Of all the times I've posted I've never seen anyplace to pick any smilies and there's times I'd like to have.
